what is this list all about?

It started off as just a fun discussion with some other coaches a few months ago. We were arguing over what era was better. I made the argument that my decade was the best (90s) and others said their decade of the 2000's was the best. We judged each decade by who had the best players and how many college athletes were produced. It was a fun conversation and as you can imagine, it led to this very awesome ALL DECADE project.

Since EAE has operated its basketball programs and scouting for the entire decade, we decided to take the challenge and find out who would be our teams if we had to make one based on college talent.

So, we started going over old notes and start collecting names from all over Asia. Before it was all said and done, we had over 200 names of great athletes from all over Asia that we had covered.

We broke the list down by years, regions, championships/team success, positions, impact, and also next level potential.

Next level potential is a huge factor in making this list. This compares and contrasts the level in which we projected the player to go in high school and how far they really went. In other words, we want to acknowledge players who did well beyond high schools just as much as they did in high school.

We are excited to acknowledge these players and their success.

THIS IS NOT A RANKING LIST! There is no number one and there a lot of players who could be on this list.

THANK YOU to all the coaches and individuals who contributed to this list and to all those who sent in quotes!
